The In Show

The In Show presents work from artists/designers who are currently or have completed one of the successful residency schemes funded by Arts Council England North West and the Crafts Council.
Hosts include Manchester Metropolitan University's Faculty of Art and Design, Salford Museum and Art Gallery, The Drumcroon Gallery, the Manchester Craft and Design Centre and the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.
The innovative work produced over the residency periods includes Furniture design, Jewellery, Sculpture, Illustration, Textiles, Product Design, Artists Books, and Ceramics by the following:

The residency schemes; 'Setting Up' and 'Next Move' were established to help young artists / designers bridge the gap between the world of art and design education and creative commercial practice. The In Show is a celebration of the success of the residency initiative, showing the value of a period of sustained research and development in supporting the artist's work and the journey from inspiration to the creative marketplace.
