Wundercamera

Re-curation of the Wundercamera exhibition
by Hayley Johnson and Natalie Meer (Part 4/6)

Vid Ingelevic's work depicts corridors and passageways in gallery spaces that are usually overlooked by the viewer. The move to the centre of the gallery contrasts the subtle subject matter by positioning them in a prime, open spot. The series were also given more space, allowing them to become more of a feature than the previous position.

Four Camera Obscured works were re-curated in a condensed hang. The work depicts archive images of usually unseen gallery settings. The majority of these works were previously dispersed throughout the space, as a means to emphasise the concept of the exhibition. Alternatively, this re-hang highlights the collective nature of the series.
